The view from out bedroom window overlooking St Ives harbour was fabulous, went to sleep and woke up with the waves hitting the rocks below us. Sadly balcony was shut due to windy weather.
No extra cost for a cooked breakfast. Good choice of menu for lunch/supper.

The design of the room is absolutely on point! The room has wonderful details.
The bed is amazing…so comfortable!
The location is great and was a plus that the restaurant was opened our first night there, our meal and wine selection was very good. Was a bit disappointing to not try more on the menu! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a parking lot not far away, very convenient.

We had a wonderfully restful night’s stay in a junior suite. The views were phenomenal. The suite had everything we needed, and more. The pantry with lemon drizzle cake in the afternoons was one of the many highlights of our stay.

Location is great. Room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. However, it was worth the hike. Room was very comfortable with amazing views of the town and the sea. When we checked in, we were given a free drink coupon. Hosts were very friendly and eager to offer tips on local dining options. Breakfast was ordered off a menu and was quite delicious. Hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating

Quaint, clean, picturesque, plenty of food outlets of all types.
Too many people in town.
Porthgwidden beach is not well known, not crowded and has good restaurant and bar etc. Other beaches are very good as well.
Parking is not easy, but e had a reserved plot. The county council could improve this and as a local councillor I have advised them how.
Accommodation is excellent.
Fairly easy to get to by car or train or bus.

We had a 'Bay View' room, but the window looking over the Bay was 'sprung', so there was just condensation and we couldn't see anything. Frankly this was very disappointing as we had paid for a Bay View room but didn't get a proper view. I wish I had pointed this out when we checked out as I feel we should have had some money back as a result. Also, there were no proper lights in the room, so we couldn't read in bed. Also, why do English hotels insist on double quilts? These are unheard of on the continent - people have their own quilts - for goodness sake Harbour View catch up with the times!

The property I booked was outside the town of St Ives in a place called Consol. However, was advertised as being in St Ives. There was builders rubble in the parking space. I was told that my 'private entrace' was through the french windows of the property and I would not, as a single traveller, have felt secure in such a situation. I did not stay at this property and would be pleased to receive a refund please.

What a picturesque town with outstanding natural beauty and so much to see in the way of art and ceramics. It does get very crowded during holiday times so I would recommend going out of season. Highlights include the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Studio, the various galleries and the beaches. The walking could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility but there are ways around that in terms of getting transport. A really stunning spot. Plenty of excellent places to eat from beach cafes to independent bakeries and coffee shops to fish restaurants. It seemed that everywhere was very dog friendly too and many visitors were there with their dogs.

We stayed at the end of the Easter holidays.
We stayed at the end of the Easter holidays. Fabulous town that can get very busy. Everywhere is a short walk and what incredible beaches and sea views.
Would recommend the surf school on Porthmeor beach. Friendly
Bunch.
Stayed in one of the beach villas for four days. Stunning location on the beach with close views of the sheer power of the sea and beautiful Carbis Bay. The decor was sumptuous and an excellent venue for a family. Loved the privacy and ready access to the hotel and six restaurants.
Restaurants were fabulous and ranged from fine dining through a range of styles, all sumptuous varied and sophisticated.
Lovely lounge by the log fire. Really great experience!
We liked this clean, airy, light-filled apartment very much. It was comfortable and had a wonderful view of the golden curve of beach towards Lelant. It had the minimum number of towels, plates, glasses, etc. needed for two people.
To have a Tesco grocery store within a few blocks was very helpful.
Using the footpath a steep ways down the hill, one could walk to St. Ives in about a mile. Using the road was noisy and seemed to take longer.
Really comfortable bed and extremely clean and well decorated bedroom with spacious beautiful ensuite. We didn't mind parking approx 100 yds down the road and the B&B covered the cost as not enough parking on the driveway. Nice walk down to Carbis Bay (steep obviously!) Beautiful garden and host warm and welcoming; we were allowed to arrive early to get ready for a wedding at Carbis Bay hotel which was great!
Staff are amazing! So helpful, friendly and efficient. I was on my own but I felt comfortable there as the staff were welcoming. Location is excellent. Views of the bay from the bar and dining room are spectacular. Breakfast was perfect - plenty of options and delicious. Next time I stay I will have the evening meals too as the menu seemed very good. Hotel is very clean. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
A beautiful studio apartment.
We loved our stay here. We enjoyed the walks down to St Ives.
We found the apartment to be spacious and the beds were comfortable.
The owner has thought of everything. The apartment is well equipped with all we needed for our stay.
The location is quiet.
We loved the extra things such as our welcome basket with scones. Overall a lovely stay in Saint Ives. Thank you. :)
We paid for superior room in order to get a good sea view . We weren’t disappointed . Nice big bay window on 2 nd floor looking over Porthminster beach with a nice little table and chairs in the bay .
Comfy bed and spacious room . Photos added of views from the window , one a sunrise and friendly seagul tapping on the glass 😀
Staff friendly and easy going .generous breakfast Good value
Great location, easy to walk into St Ives and wonderful house to stay in. Had best nights sleep in the comfy beds. The host was friendly, gave clear directions re house and responded promptly to any queries.
The extra touches eg bathrobes, welcome pack added to our stay in this beautiful house in St Ives, Cornwall. Perfect place to come home to after walking & sightseeing.
The decor of the rooms very elegant. Breakfast good. Charmaine on reception gave us an amazing welcome. She is so naturally charming and so efficient. She booked us in to Walter’s restaurant by the sea part of the sister hotel Corbis Bay Hotel. Great food and amazing beach front views. Beautiful beach. Charmaine really made our stay feel very special indeed.
A beautiful location with gorgeous views from the hotel overlooking Carbis bay beach. A short and easy walk from the train to st. Ives, with a beautiful coastal walk to st. Ives aswell! Very friendly and welcoming family who run the hotel, serve, food and hotel was the perfect break away!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the location was perfect, and the hotel presented beautifully. Our room was bigger than expected and spotlessly clean. The breakfast we had was lovely, really good value for money. The staff were friendly and helped us out with parking when we checked out.
There is absolutely nothing we could fault about this hotel. Every single member of staff we came across was excellent! The location, terrace, spa and room were all fantastic and we had a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast was also great. We will definitely be back!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was really cool and spotlessly clean! Amazing location, close to the train station and town.
Great breakfast and a lovely welcome drink.
We came back from a meal out to a singer/guitarist. Great stay!
Very glad there was a fridge in the room and also the welcoming by the host in general, the beds were very comfortable to sleep in and although it was just a room, it felt like a luxury hotel suite, bathrooms are quite large compared to anywhere else.
Very spacious living area. Bathrooms were both great, loved the tub. Very well kitted out in the kitchen. Very good location. Happy to be able to use the washing machine. We found the house to be very comfortable and very nicely decorated.
Gorgeous apartment set in stunnjng gardens.
Plenty of space in the apartment, parking space right outside. Hotel facilities were great. Location brilliant for walking into town.
The family that ran the hotel were extremely accommodating and the property and room were stunning. Far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.
