Brilliant location, just off main Piazza. 5 mins in a taxi from Porta Nuova station. Everything within walking distance. The room was a good size with a massive bed. 2 balconies. Large bathroom with good shower. Minibar limited. Check in very easy and info about local sightseeing provided. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, but you have to ask for coffee. Would happily stay there again.

Beautiful, picturesque hotel in peaceful area. A bit far from historic centre, but easily reachable by foot. I travelled alone so my hotel room was small, but I didn't need more space. Bathroom was recently renovated, beautiful red tile wall left visible. Basic breakfast but it was served in romantic secret garden.

A darling of Shakespeare, beautiful Verona is the literary home of Romeo and Juliet. The medieval families of Montague and Capulet immortalised in the tragic play did actually exist and some buildings relating to the Montagues are still present.
Sorry to disappoint, but the place purporting to have been Juliet's house in Verona was not actually where she lived. However, it’s still worth suspending reality for a while and stepping out onto the balcony to see if Romeo turns up.
Another of the must-see Verona sights is the Arena, a largely intact Roman amphitheatre which is now the spectacular setting for outdoor summer operas. Smaller Roman relics include the stone bridge that crosses the river by the Roman theatre whose remains are partly beneath a house.
The city’s narrow streets house many cafes and restaurants which offer cheaper fare than the touristy ones by the Arena, although admittedly the views are less impressive. Life in Verona is laidback and elegant, so expect to see some well-heeled Italians on a post-dinner passeggiata.
Verona Airport is a little out of town, so you’ll need to take a bus to get to your Verona hotel, apartment or B&B. Book with Booking.com for the best choice.
Pleasant Italian city. Too many people spoke English, or replied in Englush to my efforts in Italian.
Bus system great for wheelchair users, but hell to find the right bus line, stop or place to bopard.
Peaple overall laid back and friendly (only met one awkward cuss, when leat I needed to,) .

Idea place for a short break (we stayed 4 nights which was ideal).
Verona is a beautiful old city with amazing architecture, delicious food and a great relaxed atmosphere. Wander from square to square, up lovely little streets and discover Roman remains, wall paintings, churches and grand houses. Fall into coffee shops and little restaurants serving delicious food which are generally less expensive than UK.
Don’t forget to cross the river and explore further afield. No need for public transport as everywhere is walkable. We also took a day to visit Lake Garda - just hop on the train and you’ll be there in 20 minutes

Visiting Verona is an immersion into an ambience that seamlessly blends history and romance. Renowned for the tale of Romeo and Juliet, it offers far more than the famed Capulet balcony.
Explore the Arena of Verona, a Roman amphitheatre still used for concerts. Delight in the vibrant squares such as Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra. Savour exquisite wines in the nearby Valpolicella region and indulge in the rich local cuisine.
Verona is an essential destination, offering culture, history, and natural beauty at every turn.

Lovely place, like a chilled out smaller version of Rome.
Lovely place, like a chilled out smaller version of Rome.
We ate and drank in most of the places at Piazza bra, all of them were equally as nice and a lovely place to sit back and enjoy, regular trips from local musicians makes it all the better.
We also took a trip to Desenzano and Sirmione on Lake Garda - 20 minute train journey from Verona station which was a lovely day trip and only cost around £20 return for the 2 of us, well worth doing.

It was recommended to me and I'm so glad I went.
It was recommended to me and I'm so glad I went.
It has it all in a compact city. It's historic with beautiful views and historic buildings especially the colloseum, arena, and its square. The shopping precinct off this square is great, a smaller neater version of Milan without the crowds. It's a beautiful town to walk around with wide terraces and fewer cars making it very people friendly.
Who doesn't know Romeo and Juliet.
If I was redoing Italy, I'd skip Rome and Milan and do Verona and Florence, so much character without the hassle of hustlers etc
Give it a go

First visit to Verona, beautiful city, wonderful architecture i.e The Arena, clean city, local people helpful and polite. No one was impolite when we asked for information, included people on the streets.
Did not use public transportation so don’t know about easy of using it.
A lovely city!
I do not give 10’s lightly, but this place deserved it. All communication was immediate and helpful. The premises were spotless. The bathroom was twice the usual size and completely modern. The free parking space was next door to the modern building. An outdoor patio was available and the wifi was fine. He even supplied an assortment of cold drinks/beer at nominal cost (1 euro) in a small cooler in the common area. And the apt was decorated in a stylish way. This was easily one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Italy.
The apartment was spacious, cool, and clean. The air con was wonderful in temperatures in 30's. There was comfortable furniture and beds. Rather short on chairs if there had been two couples visiting. No wine glasses in Italy?
A very welcome food present for us on arrival, many thanks for that. The situation was right in the heart of Verona with wonderful old streets to walk along and magnificent opera at the arena to hear in the evenings. Good supermarkets nearby allowed us to enjoy evening meals in the cool of the apartment.
We had the worst experience being met by Mario, very rude staff .Smoking all the time and talking with a very bossy attitude
He offered us a parking where our car would not fit ,he started becoming aggressive when we said that we will not take the parking telling us if we don’t like it we can go home.
We said Ok,please refund us the payment ,and then he said that we should open a case with booking.com to get our money back.
Ruined the whole experience for us! Never encountered anything like this at our other stays in Italy.
extremely clean everywhere! The room was bright and comfortable and well equipped. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel where you can catch the bus into Verona and the main reception explained clearly which bus to take and how to get back to the hotel. They even sell bus tickets which are extremely cheap. We stayed here three nights and really enjoyed seeing Verona and Lake Garda. There is plenty of parking and also underground parking to stop your car baking in the hot sun.
This was our best hotel on our road trip in Italy/Sicily. Everything was perfect: The reception spoke perfect English, was always helpful and available. The hotel was quiet and the room very comfortable, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and rich. The proximity to Verona downtown is okay on foot, easy with an electric scooter. The street in front of the hotel has free parking and it seemed to be easy to get a parking spot (on a weekday).
This was a decent location for a walk into Verona if you have a car and don’t want to drive in the ZTL. Parking facility was very secure, and Hotel was easy to navigate to (there’s a reserved parking spot for temp check in). Shower was nice, good pressure, hot water. It’s not luxury, but it’s nice enough to stay for a night or two to explore Verona (if that’s what you’re really there for).
The location was superb, the room was small but pleasant and the breakfast was the best I have come across in Italy as besides the usual continental breakfast it included scrambled eggs, small sausages and bacon as well as fresh fruit and yogurt.
When my laptop could not connect to the hotel wifi, one of the employees let me connect to her mobile phone as a hotspot!
Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of home made cakes, pastries, bread along with savoury items. One of the best breakfasts we've had in Italy! Private parking was a real bonus in Verona. We went to the opera in the evening the walk into Verona was lovely and we had taxi back, the owners have bikes to use if you'd prefer to use them.
Beautiful, stylish and exceptionally clean. Fantastic location to see Verona from. Restored stone building offering modern luxury. Very quiet. Check in is tricky - follow the instructions and all will be good. Brilliant owners saved the day. Favorite hotel on this Italian trip.
Terrific hotel in the center of Verona. Steps to main piazza. Hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffet to start the day. wouldn’t recommend driving as it’s in the middle of old town. if you’ve driven in Italy before you know what that means. Ciao!
10 to 15 minute walk to the city center and 5 minute from the train station. It costs less than 30 EUR or 15 minutes from the Verona Airport. The hotel has an inside parking. Breakfast was very good and hotel people are all friendly. It is a value for money hotel.
it was spacious and very well organized and had everything you needed. it even had 2 bathrooms and a washing machine! Also, of all our stays in Italy it had the best instructions for operating all the appliances. I would definitely stay here again!
Everything was great! Location Verona Enjoy is perfect, close to train station (12 min) and city center (12 min).
The most delicious gelateria in Italy La Romana is located opposite.
It was clean and comfortable, wi-fi worked very well
Ivano was the perfect host, made us feel completely at home in his beautiful boutique hotel. Superb breakfast, super-comfortable rooms & en-suite bathroom, highly recommended for a romantic getaway in Verona, the city of love!
The host was incredibly well and hospitable, they help a lot to me because it was my first travel to Italy. you can trust me that this beautiful area and this family of B&B La Magia is the best way to stay in Verona.
Wonderful staff, very nice. We only stayed 1 night, as we were in transit through Italy, but we liked it very much. Everything was clean. Also, having parking was a bonus :)
